WHAT'S NEW ON THE WEBSITE
We will be happy to post any local announcements if you will send them to us. E-mail is preferable at this address, but we will also accept snail mailed announcements. If you are sending something to us by e-mail, please send the announcement like you would like it to be posted. We will just cut and paste it from your e-mail letter to the announcement page. A name and phone number of the person submitting the information is required to have it posted, No exceptions will be made.
3-30-2010 Added a post for the 2010 Census Participation Rate for Illinois to the welcome page. Updated some of the general information on other existing pages.

1-7-2007 The history pages have been updated with the Sesquicentennial Celebration and the 2006 Ice Storm. The Fire Department page is updated along with local business pages and the meeting page for the local organizations.
5/1/2006 This Site was moved from the free host to a paid host so we could stop the advertising that was added on the free site.
05-05-05 A new EPA fact sheet has been posted on the Formosa Plant News page.
With the consolidation of Illiopolis Schools and Niantic-Harristown Schools, a new SANGAMON VALLEY C.U.S.D. page has been added to provide school information while the new school district website is under construction.
A "FORMOSA PLASTICS ILLIOPOLIS PLANT NEWS UPDATE" has been added to the main menu. We will be posting fact sheets and other information as it becomes available to us.
