This concern is among Illiopolis’ recent additions to local mercantile enterprises having been established here during February of the present year. A full and complete stock of pure foods is constantly kept on hand including standard preparations in canned and bottled goods, extracts and spices, teas and coffees, etc. In the excellent assortment of boots and shoes, hats and caps, and notions the market’s best productions are represented, and are offered at prices which, quality considered, are full and honest equivalents. This firm conducts an extensive business at Chandlerville and the purchases necessary for both stores give it the advantage of buying in quantities large enough to secure bed rock prices. Since locating in Illiopolis a nice business has been established which constantly keeps on the increase. The firm consists of the five Neff brothers, Geo. W. and L. L., who reside and conduct the Illiopolis store; and Frank, G. II., and W. C., who manage the establishment at Chandlerville. This concern lacks for neither capital, experience nor enterprise to supply creditably and faithfully popular demands in the several lines handled.
