Dr. J. W. Marsh

   

 The services of the expert veterinary are always in demand, for, in all the ailments peculiar to the horse, there is a wide field and multiplied opportunities for ability and knowledge. As a practitioner Dr. J. W. Marsh has made a name and reputation throughout this section of Illinois because of his repeated successes in the core of diseases of horses and cattle. As a skilled veterinarian, Dr. Marsh’s extensive practice reflects in no uncertain manner, the esteem in which his services are held comprising as it does the leading horse owners and farmers for miles around. Dr. Marsh is a native of Zanesville, Ohio, and, came to Illinois with his parents when but two years old and settled in Springfield. He grew up in that city and, arriving at his majority, he moved to Illiopolis township and for several years was engaged in farming pursuits. Eleven years ago he became a veterinary and has followed it successfully ever since. Dr. Marsh makes a specialty of equine dentistry, and his many successful operations for ulcers, big head, and kindred diseases, give him marked preference. Aside from his excellent reputation for skill and ability in his profession, be has been found eminently qualified by the various State Boards of examiners and is a member of the Illinois Veterinary and Surgical Association. Dr. Marsh makes a specialty of diseases of animals in which few excel, effecting cures which many do not even attempt. He is well known and esteemed in this community, and wins popular confidence by his honest and open diagnosis, and by methods which are characteristic of the strictest integrity and thoroughness.
