A. S. HUNTER, Buyer and Shipper of Cattle and Hogs. Meat Market.

 Farmers and stock growers appreciate and duly estimate the excellent advantages offered to producers by Mr. A. S. Hunter for the marketing of their live stock. Mr. Hunter offer constantly the highest cash market prices and buys in any and all quantities, shipping directly to the leading markets of the country. In all transactions the integrity of his methods is a prominent characteristic—a fact which pro­motes and insures thorough satisfaction. Mr. Hunter is a native of Christian County, where he resided until ten years of age, when, with his parents, he removed to Sangamon County and followed for years farming pursuits successfully. About eighteen months ago he moved to Illiopolis and embarked in the business of buying and selling cattle and bogs and of supplying meats at retail. In this latter business Mr. Hunter slaughtered and prepared all meets for sale at his establishment; slaughtering only native cattle and hogs. He enjoys a nice patronage and receives the recognition of the best people of this section. His methods of doing business win for him and hold the esteem of the entire community, for his constant aim is to deal fairly and honestly by the public and merit patronage through honest equivalents and satisfactory efforts.
